Hey,
I'm T.J.
Having spent the first 25 years of my life in Colorado, I have an appreciation for the outdoors which draws me towards images of landscapes and wildlife. I have also been active in community theater and independent film for much of my life. My area of expertise has always been lighting, set building, and special effects. As a result, I rely almost exclusively on practical lighting for my images and I have a keen eye for composition, color, and texture.
Community Involvement
In addition to the theater and film scene, I believe it is important be involved in one's local community. I have been fortunate to make some wonderful connections through my art, and I have been thrilled to collaborate on the documentation of large scale events such as Arts in the Heart of Augusta, Chukkers for Hope, Pride Augusta, and various military events and ceremonies.
Behind the scenes and behind the camera
I have provided behind-the-scenes and promotional photography for multiple-award winning short films, and have even ventured into producing my own content. Still photography remains my passion, but video and lighting work helps keep my skills sharp and provides me a fresh way of approaching unique creative problems.
